BR41N.IO BCI Hackathon at NC State
NeuroPawn sponsors Neurotech at NC State with EEG kits for hands-on projects.

The Event
For the event, NeuroPawn provided EEG kits to support students as they explored brain-computer interface development through hands-on projects. Participants had the opportunity to work with real EEG hardware, learn how to collect brain signals, and begin prototyping projects across BCI programming, data analysis, gaming, and creative applications.
Why It Matters
Events like this are exactly why accessible neurotechnology matters. When students can quickly set up EEG hardware, record signals, and start experimenting, they are able to move beyond theory and build real working systems. This kind of hands-on learning helps lower the barrier to entry for brain-computer interfaces and gives students the confidence to explore new ideas in neurotechnology.
At NeuroPawn, our mission is to make EEG and BCI development more approachable for students, researchers, and innovators. Sponsoring the BR41N.IO Hackathon was a great opportunity to support the next generation of neurotechnology builders and help create a space where students could learn, collaborate, and prototype meaningful BCI projects.
We are excited to continue supporting Neurotech at NC State and look forward to seeing what their students build next.
